What is Included?

***Discounted Summer Pricing*** For beginners, this course is for anyone who wants to give Dungeons & Dragons (Dnd) a shot, but doesn't know where to begin. Let Lexi guide you through the game which made Time Magazine's August cover last year as "The Game That is Changed the World". Session 1: Why Dungeons and Dragons? Learn about how Dnd is taking the world by storm and why. We will cover the different styles of gameplay, how comedy and improv play a major role, and the importance of writing a thorough backstory. Session 2: We dive deep into character creation. We will cover an introduction to DndBeyond, an instrumental tool for first time players, as well as cover some of the most important parts of the game mechanics, including creating a fully developed character (skills, spells, and equipment). Session 3: It's time to play! We will take what we've learned the first 2 sessions and dive into a game of Dnd. Unlike the first 2 sessions, this session will last 3-4 hours. All sessions will take place on Discord.com and video participation is strongly encouraged. DISCLAIMER: All participants must be of 18 years or older due to potential language, violence, and adult themes. All participants must adhere to a decorum of acceptance and inclusivity. Failure to do so may result in being removed from the game, without a refund. Courses are refundable up to 2 weeks before the start of the first session. If cancelation is desired after 2 weeks prior to starting the course, the full course may be transferred to another participant at at the discretion of the business.
